Nature’s Promise Sorbetto and Espo’s Sorbetto Hiland, Roberts Ice Cream, is being voluntarily recalled due to undeclared milk. Affected product includes all flavors in pint containers.

Plainview Dry Milk Products, which is contained in many other products including Diamond Crystal Brand, Alba, Stop & Shop Instant Oatmeal among others is being recalled due to a possible Salmonella contamination on part of the supplier. Nestlé Toll House refrigerated cookie dough, is being recalled due to risk of contamination with E. coli O157:H7. However, newly made products are not part of the ongoing recall and are not associated with any illness outbreaks or known contamination. Consumers can identify the newly made products by looking for labels with shields that say “new batch” on them. FDA and CDC also warn consumers against eating any raw dough for cookies or other baked goods, at any time, because of potential contamination with Salmonella or E. coli bacteria. Contact your health care professional immediately if you or your family have recently eaten recalled cookie dough and have had stomach cramps, vomiting, or diarrhea, with or without bloody stools.         FDA, July 16, 2009
Soy Bean Sprouts, Chang Farms, is being voluntarily recalled in 10 lb bag packages and 12 oz plastic bags, with the specific sell-by date of July 17, 2009 because of the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product has been distributed to retail stores and wholesalers throughout MA, CT, NY and NJ. Consumers should discard this product or return packages to the place of purchase for a full refund. Apple Crumb Cakes, City Baking LLC, is being recalled due to undeclared walnuts which was inadvertently omitted from the label. The product was distributed in NY, NJ, PA, NC, MD, VA, MA, and ME. The cakes can be identified by a bag code, either #161 or 169 and UPC # 854142000165. They are 3 ¼ oz, and is packaged in a transparent plastic wrap.
